Infant/Toddler

Infant.Twins Pediatric optometrists use special expertise and equipment developed at U.C. Berkeley to thoroughly examine the eyes of infants and small children. Because eyesight is a key component of learning, it is important to diagnose and treat vision problems early. The American Optometric Association and the American Academy of Ophthalmology recommend that all children receive a professional vision exam at six to eight months of age and another at between two and one-half to three years.
