MEET OUR SURGEONS

Todd D. Severin, M.D.

Todd D. Severin, M.D. is an internationally renowned, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Severin also served as Medical Director at UC Berkeley Refractive Surgery Center at U.C. Berkeley.

A cum laude graduate of Pomona College, Dr. Severin completed his medical degree with honors and his ophthalmology residency at the University of California, San Diego, where he also served as Chief Resident for the Department of Ophthalmology. He then completed a post-doctorate clinical fellowship at Baylor Medical Center in Houston, Texas.

Dr. Severin has authored numerous scientific papers and chapters in the medical literature and has been an invited lecturer at scientific meetings across America, Europe and Asia.

Andrew L. Sorenson, M.D.

Andrew L. Sorenson, M.D. is a fellowship-trained refractive surgeon and corneal specialist in Berkeley, CA. After graduating from Stanford University, he obtained his medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed his ophthalmology residency training at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco.

Dr. Sorenson specializes in laser vision correction procedures. Following his ophthalmology Chief Residency, he completed a year-long fellowship in LASIK, PRK and corneal transplantation surgeries at Duke University Eye Center.

Dr. Sorenson is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley, and serves as Medical Director at UC Berkeley Refractive Surgery Center. Dr. Sorenson also directs the Cornea Service at Highland Hospital in Oakland.

Lee Schwartz, M.D.

Lee Schwartz, M.D. is fellowship-trained ophthalmologist and corneal specialist with his primary office in San Francisco, CA. He graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and did fellowships in Corneal-External Disease at the Proctor Foundation at UCSF and at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, University of Miami.

Dr. Schwartz is an Assistant Clinical Professor at U.C. Berkeley as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. He is a consultant in Corneal-External diseases at the California Pacific Medical Center. He has authored numerous research and clinical articles and is board certified by both the American Board of Ophthalmology and by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
